Super Bowl XLIX – Bud Light House of Whatever

The Bud Light team took over a city block in downtown Phoenix and treated many of their fans to concerts, free beer, and a great time during Super Bowl week in 2015. Road WiFi sub contracted a local microwave internet provider in the desert to provide bandwidth for the event. They used a microwave dish on the top of the US airways center to a “nearby” mountain top, then point to point linked down to our parking lot and we took it from there. We covered the entire city block with WiFi, not only for guests, but for production, ticket scanning around the perimeter of the site, point of sale, live Twitter feeds, and artist networks.
